• The Automatic Nesting module is tightly integrated into the Vision PLUS Desktop, making it easy to switch back and forth between automatic and manual nesting modes. Parts can be placed on the plate manually, then the remaining space can then be automatically filled. The reverse is also possible. An automatically created layout can always be modified manually.
  
• The Automatic Nesting module is the most powerful and efficient nesting package available. Automatic Nesting allows fast, automatic nest creation using any parts specified. The user can control all aspects of the nesting process, such as the number of cutting heads to be used, priority of each part in the nest, cutting sequence, or material grain limitations. Parts can also be selected by weight or size to give you the best optimization possible.
  
• The manipulation of the parts after nesting is very easy. The bumping feature allows you to tweak a part into place and will move the part as close to another part without violating the required part-to-part distance.
  
• Rotating the part can be done manually or you can specify a degree of rotation.
  
• Moving a part horizontally or vertically allows you to move the part in only one direction without disrupting the placement in the opposite direction. The placement of a part is quick and simple.

Data Management Module (DMM)

Schedule and track production requirements. Assign parts to specific nests, and keep up with just-in-time cutting.



Plate Management Module (PMM)

Keep track of plate inventory and remnants. Assign nests to a specific plate or remnant. Track each part and every nest and the material from which they were cut.
