Automatic CNC controlled rotation keeps the lower bevel torches perpendicular to the direction of cut, and requires no special programming, other than turning rotation on and off as required. The VisionTM CNC also optimizes rotation motion in corners and during pre-positioning.

Left and right bevel torches are easily adjusted to the desired edge geometry. Tilt angle can be set between 23 and 60 degrees. Horizontal adjustment allows the left and right torches to be adjusted inward or outward as necessary for bevel geometry and plate thickness. Each torch can be moved up or down within its holder. Adjustments also allow either left or right torch to be the leading torch.

Automatic Height Control maintains accurate cutting height, which is vital for accurate bevel cutting. Dual plate sensors provide both height control and off-the-plate sensing, which freezes the height when cutting off the end of a plate.

A rigid, heavy-duty lifter provides vertical motion and utilizes dual linear rails for accurate positioning throughout the bevel cutting process.

Up to two Contour Bevel Stations may be installed on a machine. This provides added production capacity, allowing two identical or mirror image parts to be cut at once; or added flexibility, allowing both sides of a part to be cut simultaneously.
