Extra Info

Arcaloy 316LF5-16 electrodes are used for welding Types 316 and 316L stainless steels and have a minimum ferrite content of five as per the WRC-92 Constitution Diagram. In many cases they can also be used for the welding of Types 304 and 304L with some exceptions such as nitric acid service. The basic-rutile thin coating of Arcaloy 316LF5-16 gives an excellent combination of welding performance in all positions and a high resistance to cracking. It is therefore a good choice for a multitude of welding applications including tight joints.
