Nickel-Arc 550 was developed as a new and improved Nickel-Arc 55. The primary advantage of this electrode is its superior resistance to over-heating, thus producing maximum deposition efficiency and maximum utilization.
Nickel-Arc 550 produces a weld deposit that is smooth and flat, providing good tie-ins between stringer beads. This also allows the electrode to be used with AC current. Proper welding procedures should be followed.
