Arcaloy ER410 is used to weld stainless steel of similar analysis.
Arcaloy ER410 is used to weld stainless steel of similar analysis especially where corrosion and oxidation resistance at elevated temperature up to 1200ºF(649ºC).
Arcaloy ER410 is a bare wire and is for welding stainless steel Type 410 martensitic stainless steel. Arcaloy ER410 can be used in the MIG processes in the spray, pulse or short-arc modes of metal transfer. With the process, shielding gases of argon with 1 or 2% oxygen are commonly used for 'spray' and a mixture of 90% helium - 7.5 argon - 2.5 carbon dioxide is used for 'short-arc'.
