Dual Shield 80-C3 is a flux cored wire designed for use with CO2 shielding. It
deposits a nominally 1% Ni weld metal with impact toughness at temperatures
as low as -20°F (-28°C). It features a stable arc and easily controlled weld
puddle. The thin cover of slag is easily removed, even from deep grooves.
Spatter levels are generally low. X-ray quality welds can easily be produced with

Dual Shield 80-C3. Dual Shield 80-C3 is recommended for welding steels having 70 and 80 ksi minimum tensile strength steels that will be used in the as welded condition. It also produces a weld metal analysis that is suitable for weathering steels. It is recommended for making fillet and butt welds in 3/8” and thicker plate.
