Typical applications: cold blanking, trimming and forming dies, cold cutting and shearing, and where shrinking and deforming during welding must be held at a minimum.
Set wire amperage and adjust voltage for smoothest operation. Use 98%Argon 2% Oxygen shielding gas. Wire will also operate in the short circuiting mode or with pulse arc, and under these conditions, may be usable out-of-position. Do not exceed maximum draw-range temperatures. When repairing cutting edges, weld in one direction to within a short distance of the edge end. Then weld in the opposite direction and overlap the first bead. Light peening of each bead will reduce internal stresses and minimize cracking tendencies.
