Temper to desired hardness or toughness to withstand condition to which the unit will be subjected. For maximum toughness in the weld deposit, temperature at 900ºF (482ºC)
Recommended welding procedure same as All-State Corecast 8600 with special attention to preheating. When repairing the 5% chrome steel type (A-2/A-8) or in composite fabrication, preheat to 400º - 500ºF(204º - 260ºC)
