Unique fast-freeze electrode that has a special coating that simplifies vertical down and up welding of thin to medium gauge molybdenum bearing stainless steels. Excellent for maintenance of corrosion resistant stainless steel parts that must be welded in position as found in paper mills, food processing, breweries, distilleries, slaughter houses, dairies and canneries. Extra low carbon composition aids in preventing carbide precipitation.

Procedure

Clean base metal. For vertical welding, set amperage at high end of the scale. Maintain a sharp angle with the electrode pointing upward. Quickly whip the electrode back and forth while moving up or down.
