All-position DC reverse flux cored stainless steel wire.
All-position, DC reverse, flux cored stainless steel wire with self-peeling slag. Excellent for welding type 316 stainless. Resists corrosion from sulphuric and sulphurous acids, cellulose solutions, and chlorides. For best results, use with a 75% Argon/25% CO2 shielding gas. Meets AWS A5.22,Class E316LT-1.

Twice the deposition rate of solid stainless steel wires and over four times the deposition rate and efficiency of covered electrodes - even out-of-position. Smooth unrippled and desirable flat bead shape in all positions; excellent puddle control; ease of slag removal (in most cases, it is self-peeling.)
Use feed rolls of common configurations (knurled, u-grooved,or flat-V grooved combination) but do not exceed a firm finger tight feed roll pressure. Use nylon or teflon cable liner. Wire must be carefully cut to insure roundness and proper feeding through the contact tip. Set wire feed speed and adjust voltage for smoothest operations. Electrode stickout range is from 1/2" to 1" (12.5mm to 25mm)with an ideal range of 5/8" to 3/4" (16mm to 19mm). Weld using reverse polarity DC(Electrode +) in all positions.
