Features
Provides extremely good earth abrasion resistance. May be applied to steels, stainless steels, manganese steels, and cast iron. Wire runs through rust and other surface contaminants, and will operate in conditions where wind may blow shielding away. Non-machinable with hardness of 60-65 RC. Heat resistant to 1000°F.

Procedure
Operates on DC reverse polarity over a wide range of voltages and amperages. It may be used with short-arc welding from 16-23 volts and 80-200 amps or spray-arc welding from 29-33 volts and 220-250 amps. With short-arc although CO2 gas may be used, 75 Argon/25 CO2 or other Argon-CO2 mixtures perform best. Use 30-35 CFH with spray-arc welding, mixtures or Argon and Oxygen, such as 98/2 or 95/5 are recommended. Use 35-40 CFH.
