A smooth running tubular electrode consisting of complex chromium carbides that can operate at 80 amps. Use for high abrasion, compressive impact loads, cavitation and erosion on steel, manganese steel and cast iron. Build-up: 2 or 3 passes.
Chromium carbide alloy used in high abrasion, compressive impact loads and erosion found in: shovel buckets, dredge bucket lips, crusher mantles and liners, clutch jaws, manganese steel swing hammers, procket teeth, pressure rolls, grinder rings, grizzly bars and feeder sprouts. RC 55 to 60.

Non-hygroscopic coating and tubular construction eliminates moisture problems and rebaking. 1/4" (6.4mm) 80-125 amps AC or DCRP
Best results achieved by using low amperage, holding arc length at 2/3 of the electrode diameter and perpendicular to the work piece. Multiple beads can be deposited without deslagging between layers.
