Recommended primarily for leak-proof joints on copper, steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloy potable water and food machinery lines where lead-free solder must be used.
Clean joint area and paint with Aquasafe paste flux or Duzall liquid flux. Bring base metal to 418°F (214°C) using torch or soldering iron. Apply solder when flux starts to bubble. Solder is workable between 418°F (214°C) and 440°F (226°C). Allow liquified solder to cool before removing flux residue with hot water.
