Alloy Shield 420
Alloy Shield 420 is a tubular, composite metal cored subarc wire designed for overlay shurfacing of steel mill rolls, picker rolls, crane wheels and similar applications where a hard surface is required. Can be used in combination with OK Flux 601.
Features
Alloy Shield 420 produces smooth, well washed beads. The slag is self-peeling even at temperatures over 700°F (371°C). Alloy Shield 420 typicaly produces a 51 Rc in the as welded condition (2 layers).
