Solid Wire - Nickel Based Alloys
ESAB supplies an assortment of nickel steel alloys for GMAW, GTAW & SAW applications. All such alloys are pretested for wire chemistry prior to shipping and are supplied with a Certificate of Analysis. Submerged arc fluxes are available for all applicable alloys.
GMAW
All GMAW nickel based alloys have been designed and developed around a "matte" surface finish that provides for more trouble-free welding. These wires' columnar strength allows for higher wire feed speed and greater productivity. Our control on wire cast and helix minimizes downtime while providing better welding performance. Choose from one of our many alloys and see the difference.
GTAW
All GTAW nickel based products are similarly produced (as are the ESAB stainless MIG wire), and meet a variety of demanding specifications. The chemically-cleaned wire surface prevents unnecessary impurities frequently associated with other TIG rods. All rods are marked with the proper identification to avoid lot mixups. The various grades and alloys make ESAB TIG products the first choice of welders.
