Self-Shielded Flux Core

Core-Bright wires are designed to operate without a shielding gas. A careful mixture of alloy and shielding agents produces a weld deposit of excellent appearance and radiographic quality. Low weld penetration makes Core-Bright the primary choice for overlay or buildup applications.

Core-Bright 309L (E309LT0-3)

Core-Bright 309L was developed for flat and horizontal welding without the use of a shielding gas when cladding or joining stainless to mild carbon steels.

Core-Bright 316L (E316LT0-3)

Core-Bright 316L was developed for flat and horizontal welding without the use of a shielding gas where added corrosion resistance on 316 or 316L is required.

Core-Bright 308L (E308LT0-3)

Core-Bright 308L was developed for flat and horizontal welding without the use of a shielding gas when joining 304 or 304L stainless steel.
