All Arcaloy and Tigrod products are similarly produced (as are the ESAB stainless MIG wire), and meet a variety of demanding specifications. The chemically-cleaned wire surface prevents unnecessary impurities frequently associated with other TIG rods. All rods are marked with the proper identification to avoid lot mixups. The various grades and alloys make ESAB TIG products the first choice of welders.
Arcaloy ER308L is a low carbon grade of 308 designed for MIG or TIG of stainless steels such as AISI 301, 304, 304L steels. SPECIAL ORDER ONLY
Arcaloy ER308/308H has good corrosion resistance in high temperature service.
OK Tigrod 308LSi has good general corrosion resistance. This high silicon Tigrod improves the welding properties such as wetting.
OK Tigrod 309LSi has good general corrosion resistance. The higher silicon content improves the welding properties such as wetting.
Arcaloy ER312 is used for welding stainless steels to mild steels and for welding high strength steels difficult to weld with ferritic electrodes.
Arcaloy ER316L is a low carbon grade of stainless steel which provides additional corrosion resistance where necessary.
OK Tigrod 316LSi is a bare, corrosion-resistant, austenitic stainless for welding 316 steels. This high silicon Tigrod improves the wetting characteristics of the weld deposit.
Arcaloy 317L is a continuous, solid, corrosion-resistant, chromium-nickel-molybdenum wire for welding of austenitic stainless alloys of 19% Cr, 13% Ni, 3% Mo types. Arcaloy 317L can be used in combination with OK Flux 10.93 or 10.94.
Arcaloy ER320LR Tigrod is designed for welding Carpenter 20Cb-3® type stainless steels.
Arcaloy ER347 is a columbium stabilized stainless steel for welding types 347 and 321 stainless, comes in MIG, TIG, and SAW forms.
OK Tigrod 2509 is a super duplex grade for high resistance to intergranular corrosion and pitting. The alloy is widely used in applications in which corrosion resistance is of the utmost importance. Can be used in combination with OK Flux 10.94.
