The PT-600 Mechanized Plasma Cutting Torch is the latest development in high-current plasma cutting from ESAB, the first name in plasma. The PT-600 torch is precision engineered for close tolerance concentricity, making it ideal for straight or bevel cutting, and providing the highest possible cut quality and consumable life.

Versatility

The PT-600 is an extremely versatile dual-gas torch, allowing you to pick the combination of gases, speed, and cut quality that you want. It can use O₂, N₂, Air or H-35 for plasma gas; N₂, Air or H-35 for start gas; and N2 or Air for secondary shield gas.

Power

The PT-600 has a current capacity of 600 Amps at 100% duty cycle. It can cut carbon steel up to 1.5 in. (38 mm) thick using 400 Amp Oxygen Plasma, and stainless steel or aluminum up to 3 in. (75 mm) thick using 600 Amp Nitrogen Plasma. When combined with ESAB’s Smart Flow II electronic proportional valve flow control system, the PT-600 forms the business end of the most advanced plasma cutting system available.

The PT-600’s precision machined mating surfaces and close tolerance concentricity design is perfectly suited for Plasma Bevel Cutting and for cutting square edges on straight cuts. ESAB’s new Mini-Bevel Plasma Bevel System is built around the PT-600, providing up to 400 Amp bevel cutting. The PT-600 is also available with ESAB’s Expert Motion Plasma Bevel System, for plasma bevel cutting up to 600 Amps.
