El Atom Arc 8018-B6L deposita metales de soldadura bajos en carbono de 5%Cr, 0.5%Mo. Está diseñado para soldar aceros ASTM A200-T5, A335-P5, A387-Gr5, y similares. Las aplicaciones tienden a ser usados en las industrias petroleras y petroquímicas, especialmente cuando el Hidrógeno ataca aceleradamente las fallas en el metal. Adicionalmente, éstos aceros son usados en envases de presión y tuberías de servicios de alta temperatura.
