Shield-Bright 2509 es un alambre relleno doble con una composición nominal de 25% Cr, 9% Ni, 4% Mo, y .35% N. Actualmente, esta manufacturado acorde al AWS A5.22 pero sin ninguna clasificación específica. Este material de relleno es usable para UNS S32750 (SAF 2507 y URN47NÑ2), S32760 (Zerón 100 & FAC100) y J9338380 (cast Zerón 100) y composiciones similares. Entre las aplicaiones se encuentran la resistencia a la corrosión extrema y la corrosion en las perforaciones de las plataformas petroleras offshore, pula y papel y las industrias químicas procesadoras.
